ANTH 366 -- Historical Ecology (3) This course analyzes and addresses contemporary environmental problems through the combined intellectual frameworks of archaeology, anthropology, ecology, and history. In doing so, it recognizes the importance of historical trajectories, and the interconnections between culture and ecological systems, in the production of modern landscapes. This course applies this interdisciplinary perspective to examine the impact of humans on the environment through time. Junior or Senior standing required.
